Solar Energy
Solar power is the use of the sun's energy to produce heat, light, and/or power for buildings with little to no environmental impacts. Advanced technologies allow solar energy to be a viable power source for many places today.
The environmental benefits of solar energy are much greater than that of conventional electricity generation:
- Reduces dependence on fossil fuels or nuclear power.
- Renewable resource.
- Improved air quality and zero emissions.
- Made locally without the use of environmentally damaging resources.
