Comparison of CO₂ Emissions from Gasoline and E85
Notes on American Lung Association of Minnesota fuel and vehicle testing:

Vehicle testing was conducted at MN State University-Mankato in coordination with University or North Dakota Energy & Environmental Research Center.
Partial federal test procedure was used in determining emissions of these fuels in a 2004 Ford Explorer Sport Trac flexible fuel vehicle.
Results for E85 and the Wisconsin non-ethanol gasoline represent single fuel samples while those of the three Minnesota 87-octane gasolines represent aggregate samples collected at three separate service stations of each brand.
