DESCRIPTION:Registration is now open for the Zero Emission Bus Conference (ZEB Con)\, an annual event providing transportation professionals with the necessary tools to electrify their fleets. The conference will take place September 26-28 in San Diego\, CA.  \nFrom initial community advocacy to electrifying a full depot and managing ongoing zero-emission bus operations\, conference content covers the entire journey to zero-emission. ZEB Con’s three-day programming includes keynote speakers\, panel sessions\, an exposition hall and the return of the Happy (Bus) Hour static bus display and networking event. ZEB Con provides an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest technology and best practices from top professionals in the zero-emissions field. It’s also a great way to network with leading experts and gain insight into what other agencies are doing to advance fleet electrification. \nIn addition to ZEB Con’s standard programming\, San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) and North County Transit District will host on-site tours of their battery-electric bus operations as an optional add-on for attendees. DESCRIPTION:Beltrami Electric Cooperative will host an Electric Vehicle (EV) Car Show on Thursday\, September 28\, 2023\, from 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. in Bemidji. The event is part of National Drive Electric Week. \nDuring the car show\, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about EV charging technologies and the programs available for EV owners through their local electric provider. These programs include home charging off-peak rates and rebates. \nEV owners will be present at the event to share their experiences of owning and driving an electric vehicle. They will discuss topics such as overcoming range anxiety and the best way to charge an EV. There will be an EV Owner Discussion Panel starting at 5:30 p.m. \nThe event will feature a variety of EVs\, including the Ford F-150 Lightning\, Ford Mach-E Mustang\, Chevy Bolt\, Volkswagen ID.4\, various Tesla models\, Polaris Ranger Kinetic\, QuietKat e-bikes\, and more. \nThe Bemidji EV Car Show is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in EVs to learn more about the technology\, speak with current owners\, and see the vehicles up close.
