Emma Kogan, an intern with the North Dakota Clean Cities Coalition, recently participated in the Clean Cities and Communities Accelerate training, a national program designed to develop the next generation of clean transportation professionals. Funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, Accelerate provides students with hands-on experience while offering Clean Cities Coalitions valuable support in areas such as stakeholder engagement, data analysis, content creation, and event planning.
During the two-day training, Emma joined interns from across the country to explore key topics like stakeholder engagement, technical tools for clean transportation, and career opportunities in the field. The sessions featured expert-led discussions, practical workshops, and networking opportunities, equipping interns with the knowledge and skills needed to drive sustainable transportation initiatives.
By participating in Accelerate, Emma and other interns are helping expand public awareness, advance clean transportation markets, and bring fresh perspectives to coalitions nationwide.
