The Electrification Coalition has launched the Advanced Freight Partners Group (AFPG), an industry-driven initiative focused on building a more resilient, efficient, and interconnected freight ecosystem.
As the freight sector faces evolving supply chains, new energy solutions, and shifting market demands, the AFPG provides a platform for collaboration across manufacturers, logistics firms, energy providers, vehicle operators, infrastructure developers, and public agencies.
The group’s priorities include:
- Supporting deployment of advanced fuels, powertrains, and infrastructure.
- Breaking down silos between freight modes and sectors.
- Sharing best practices and scaling successful solutions.
- Advancing strategies that improve efficiency, competitiveness, and environmental performance.
