Supporting Transportation Electrification – Leadership, Learning, Assistance, and Resources (STELLAR) is an initiative dedicated to promoting equitable transportation decarbonization by engaging underserved communities, providing technical assistance, and offering workforce training.
This initiative funds 13 Chicago community-based organizations to effectively engage and represent their communities to expand access to clean transportation. Participating community-based organizations :

Project goals
STELLAR will build each community-based organization’s ability to engage and represent their community on transportation decarbonization through technical assistance and capacity-building opportunities. STELLAR encompasses a range of initiatives that include community engagement programs, outreach efforts, and workforce development training by OAI, Inc. on vehicle electrification. By combining these components, we strive to create a comprehensive framework that supports more equitable transportation decarbonization.
