MN fleets and Data: Each year, as part of the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Clean Cities and Communities, the Minnesota Clean Cities Coalition request partners to provide a snapshot and data regarding alternative fuels, advanced vehicle technologies, and related petroleum reduction strategies.
The latest Clean Cities and Communities Partnership 2023 Activity Report was recently published and key findings include:
• Coalitions achieved an energy use of over 1 billion GGE in 2023, with the highest impacts coming from Alternative Fuel Vehicles.
• Coalitions prevented 9.1 million tons of carbon dioxide-equivalent (CO2e) emissions.
