The 2026 Minnesota State Fair begins on August 27 and runs through Labor Day on September 7.
Between food-on-a-stick, giant pumpkins and the Miracle of Life Birth Center, come visit the Eco Experience Building to see and learn about EVs from dealers and MN EV owner volunteers. The Eco Experience is a huge exhibit at the Minnesota State Fair, filled with hands-on activities, demonstrations and resources.
On site at the Eco Experience, visitors can see and interact with:
• Subaru Trailseeker from White Bear Acura Subaru
• Pre-owned Chevy Equinox EV from Rosedale Chevrolet
• RGNT motorcycle
• Charging station demonstrations
• Electric landscape equipment
• Electric bikes
Outside on the west side of the Eco Experience building, visitors can see the Red Lake Nation electric school bus, along with an EV bucket truck from Xcel Energy near at the front of the building.
Alongside numerous daily events and presentations in the Eco experience, here are some that may interest those curious about alternative fuels in Minnesota:
• Thursday, August 27, 2 pm: Embracing Clean Energy and Healthy Learning Environments at Red Lake School District
• Friday, September 4, 12 pm: EV Owners Panel at the Sustainability Stage
