Virtual Workshop on Ethanol Opportunities

The U.S. Department of Energy Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy’s Bioenergy Technologies Office (BETO) will host a virtual workshop to gather stakeholder input on current and developing technologies aimed at reducing the carbon intensity of corn ethanol production facilities.

During this workshop, BETO will gather industry experts, researchers, and other interested parties to discuss how the ethanol industry can be a part of the U.S. carbon strategy. Topics for discussion include new productivity or conversion efficiency measures, carbon capture technology, sustainable agriculture and farming practices, and process technology for higher value co-products or conversion of ethanol to sustainable aviation fuel.
