What is this grant for?
- Funding for school districts to buy electric school buses or repower existing diesel engines with electric ones.
Who qualifies for this grant?
- Eligible school districts, Tribal contact schools & transportation fleets who provide services for school districts.
How much does this grant cover?
- The Department of Commerce can cover up to 90% of bus cost and up to 95% of other, necessary costs.
When and where to apply?
- Applications are open from February 10th, 2025 until May 13th, 2025 at 5pm CST.
